DCDC Facilities and Equipment

The recently-completed headquarters at the Delta Conservation Demonstration Center includes a state-of-the-art meeting room, which can seat up to 50 people at provided meeting tables and more in a chair-only arrangement. The room is audio-visually equipped with high speed Internet connections, a Power Point projector and a 100-inch x 100-inch projection screen. A small utility kitchen opens into the room making it easy to plan for breaks and refreshments. Meals can be catered to the site by several local restaurants and private caterers.

The covered shop can seat up to 100 people. Indoor restrooms adjoin the shop. The many pieces of equipment in use at DCDC including conservation tillage implements, planters, drills, spay applicators, etc. are available for demonstration and training uses such as calibration sprayer clinics. One tour trailer, which seats 50, is on-site at the DCDC and additional trailers are available.

The facilities are a favorite training site for organizations such as the Natural Resources Conservation Service, MSU-Extension, private agriculture groups and agriculture consultants.
